Central Division HQ, West Bell Street (Click for map) Police Headquarters in West Bell Street, Dundee is the base for the Central Division command team. The Divisional Commander is Chief Superintendent Gavin Robertson. He is assisted by Superintendent Colin MacKay. Chief Inspector Suzanne Mertes has day-to-day responsibility for all operational policing matters and Chief Inspector Sandra Richard has responsibility for support functions within the Division.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is also based at Force Headquarters and is led by Detective Chief Inspector Shaun McKillop. The Divisional Road Policing Unit (RPU) is led by Inspector Gordon Taylor and is based at the Force's Baluniefield facility. For policing purposes, Dundee is divided into four separate sections :
