The home of Forfar Athletic Football Club is Station Park, which is situated off of Carseview Road Forfar, on the very northern perimeter of the town. Map ref. 467516 and indeed the north side of the park faces open farmland.

THE GROUND

There is no permanent segregation at this ground and spectators are free to choose where they stand and to move about during the game. The only seating area at the ground is in the stand and the turnstile for this is at the north side. There is a strict no smoking policy in the stand which is an elderly wooden construction and once you've seen it you'll understand why. The ground is covered by the SFA regulations and there are no other special conditions applicable.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

The town of Forfar is completely bypassed by the A90 dual carriageway on the west side and visiting supporters using this approach must look for the most appropriate exit to take them into the town.

From the north

Drivers approaching from the north will be travelling on the southbound carriageway of the A90 and should leave this at the junction with the B9128 to Forfar, which is well signposted.

Drivers will enter the 30-mph limits at the built-up area (Brechin Road) and encounter a mini roundabout. Go straight ahead and about 300 meters further on, down a slight hill they will come to another mini roundabout at the junction with Market Street.

Turn left into Market Street, then take the 2nd road on the left which is Carseview Road. For normal matches there will be ample on street parking available outwith the areas marked with No Waiting Cones. Cars parked in a dangerous position are likely to be removed by Police at a cost to the driver.

From the west and south

Drivers approaching from the west on the A94 are advised to join the A90 opposite McDonald's and travel northwards towards Aberdeen. Drivers approaching from the south will be travelling northwards on the A90.

Although there are three routes leading into Forfar from the A90, drivers are advised to continue northwards (passing Forfar Loch which will be seen on the right side) to the junction with the A926 and follow the sign for Forfar, leaving the dual carriageway via the off ramp and flyover.

Drivers will then travel along Kirriemuir Road and after entering the 30-mph limit will encounter a mini roundabout where they should turn right. About 300 meters further on, down a slight hill they will come to another mini roundabout at the junction with Market Street.

Turn left into Market Street, then take the 2nd road on the left which is Carseview Road. For normal matches there will be ample on street parking available outwith the areas marked with No Waiting Cones. Cars parked in a dangerous position are likely to be removed by Police at a cost to the driver.

From the east

Local traffic approaching from the east will enter the town either on the B9113 from Montrose, the B9134 from Brechin, the B9128 from Carnoustie or the A932 from Arbroath via Friockheim.

All these roads converge at a set of traffic lights at the junction of East High Street/South Street/North Street. Whilst drivers on the B9128 (Carnoustie Road) should go straight ahead, all others should turn right.

All will then be travelling north in North Street and should continue to the junction with Market Street then go straight ahead into Carseview Road. For normal matches there will be ample on street parking available outwith the areas marked with No Waiting Cones. Cars parked in a dangerous position are likely to be removed by Police at a cost to the driver.

LARGER MATCHES

Larger matches such as cup ties against Premier league teams, where a considerable travelling support is anticipated, will have the traffic routes well sign posted. For these matches special parking restrictions will apply and these will also be signposted.
